Mission Statement: Due to the economic implications of COVID-19, many families are financially affected and worried about having enough food and other necessities to sustain themselves. We need your help to assist our neighbors during this difficult time. Doorstep Donations was created to make donating safe and easy. We will safely pick up donations from your doorstep (or convenient location of your choice) and donate it to those in need.
Description of Work:
“A volunteer has two roles: to pickup food donations and to send out weekly emails. A volunteer will be contacted with pickup information, they will pick up the donation, and then they will transport the donation to the Isaacs Center, our Manhattan partner. Sending out weekly emails is simple; volunteers will create an email list with their friends and family, and the team will send out email templates for the volunteers to use.”
